Mary Eliza Tillotson was born January 19, 1829. She was the daughter of Leonard Tillotson and Mary Cossitt Thomas. Mary married Charles Gurley Wait on May 29, 1850 in Medina County, Ohio. Daniel M. Conant presided at the wedding. Charles was born April 2, 1830 in Strongsville, Cuyahoga County, Ohio. He was the son of James Wait and Eliza Ashley.
James Wait moved to Hinckley, Medina County, Ohio from Massachusetts along with his brothers Enos and Henry Wait, about the fall of 1830. A year later he moved to Brunswick, Medina County, Ohio where James served as captain of a ferry boat on Lake Erie.

Susan Eliza Wait was born August 15, 1853 in Berea, Medina County, Ohio. She married William T. Reed. Susan and William had two children:
"J", a boy, was born in January, 1879 and died two months later on April 12, 1879 in Fairfield, Shiawassee County, Michigan. His cause of death is listed as diarrhea.
Harry Carl Reed was born November 23, 1882 in Ovid, Clinton County, Michigan. Harry married Gertrude Fanny Simmons on November 21, 1904 in Ovid, Clinton County, Michigan. Gertrude was born October 11, 1880 to Curtis Simmons Reed and his wife Ellen. Harry and Gertrude had four children:
Judd F. Reed.
Bertha E. Reed.
Charles James Reed was born October 4, 1906 in Ovid, Clinton County, Michigan. He married Mildred Reeves, who was born to Byron and Madge Reeves on September 9, 1909. Charles and Mildred had one child:
Barbara Jane Reed.
Charles James Reed died in Belding, Ionia County, Michigan on October 7, 1977.
Ellen Eliza Reed was born in 1908 in Ovid, Clinton County, Michigan.
Frank Leroy Wait was born April 23, 1857 in Brunswick, Medina County, Ohio. He was married and had two children:
Edith May Wait. She married Ivan Lucius Bennett. Edith and Ivan had two children:
Howard Wait Bennett was born in 1903.
Marlynn Leroy Bennett was born in 1904.
Lloyd Wait. He married and had four children:
Wendell Wait.

Mary Elizabeth Wait was born June 5, 1863 in Elsie, Clinton County, Michigan. She married Albert C. Smith. Their marriage notice reads as follows:
Married at the residence of Mr. William T. Reed of Fairfield, by Rev. Eldridge of Ovid, Mr. Albert C. Smith to Miss Mary E. Wait, both of Ovid. The bride is the daughter of Mr. C. G. Wait, of Ovid, formerly a resident of Fairfield.
Mary and Albert had two children:
Harold Strong Smith was born in Ovid, Clinton County, Michigan. Harold married Murial Holland on April 5, 1924 in Ovid. Murial was born on July 16, 1897 to John and Nancy Holland.

Mary Eliza Tillotson died March 13, 1885 in Fairfield, Shiawassee County, Michigan. She is buried in Elsie, Clinton County, Michigan. Charles Gurley Wait died on January 4, 1895 in Ovid, Clinton County, Michigan. He is also buried in Elsie.
